Anthony Grumbach is the Director of Professional Development at Farella Braun + Martel LLP, where he is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s professional development program, including continuing education, career development, mentoring, performance reviews and litigation workload management.
Before joining the firm, he worked as a trial attorney for thirteen years in the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, the United States Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, and private practice. He has represented public and private clients in jury and bench trials, pre-trial hearings, appeals, arbitrations, mediations, and collective bargaining negotiations.
As a trainer and panelist, he has created and participated in programs outside the firm for the City and County of San Francisco, United States Department of Justice, American Bar Association, Berkeley Law School, Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Professional Development Consortium, Practising Law Institute, and Professional Development Institute. He is also a NITA-certified trial advocacy teacher.
Before law school, he worked for nine years as a professional actor and producer in theater, film and television.
