Brett Greenberg is a senior associate in Farella Braun + Martel's Real Estate Department.
Mr. Greenberg's real estate practice is focused on fund formation, acquisitions and dispositions, finance, leasing and hospitality. His experience includes negotiating and drafting commercial real estate contracts, representing fund sponsors in the structuring, formation, operation and restructuring of real estate investment funds, representing lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions, representing landlords and tenants in the negotiation of office and retail leases, and advising on guaranty enforcement issues. Mr. Greenberg also has coordinated the bankruptcy acquisition of a portfolio of residential development projects.
Recently, Mr. Greenberg has advised renewable energy companies, vineyards and wineries on land use issues, including those pertaining to the California Subdivision Map Act.
Mr. Greenberg is an active board member of Root Division, a Bay Area arts and education nonprofit organization.
