Deborah Barron is a commercial litigator who represents businesses and individuals at both the trial and appellate levels.
Ms. Barron has significant experience researching and drafting motions, memoranda and appellate briefs in a variety of matters involving breach of contract claims, consumer and employment class actions, product liability and other high-stakes commercial disputes. She has experience arguing before both trial and appellate judges on behalf of clients from industries ranging from technology and manufacturing to food and financial services.
Before entering law school, Ms. Barron worked as a journalist and a strategic communications and planning consultant for foundations, nonprofit organizations and candidates for office at the local, state and federal levels.
After law school, Ms. Barron clerked for the Hon. Ronald Gilman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. During law school, Ms. Barron was an extern for the Hon. Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
