Dirk Mueller is a partner in Farella Braun + Martel’s Real Estate & Land Use Department and Renewable Energy & Clean Technologies Group. Mr. Mueller’s practice focuses on assisting clients with a wide range of energy and real estate finance, development, acquisition and disposition matters.
Mr. Mueller advises energy industry clients on the development, acquisition, disposition, project financing and operations of energy projects including solar, wind, geothermal, natural gas, landfill gas and biomass. He also advises clients on electricity sales, gas supply, interconnection and transmission agreements. His recent experience includes representing clients in connection with the development, acquisition, sale and/or financing of many of the largest solar energy projects constructed to date in the United States, including the first large-scale solar project approved to be built on tribal land in North America. Mr. Mueller has also represented sponsors in the development, acquisition, disposition and financing of wind energy projects, hydro-electric projects, a $400 million geothermal energy facility in the Salton Sea geothermal resource area, landfill gas projects and numerous natural gas fired projects.
He represents commercial real estate investors, developers and lenders in acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, financing and joint venture matters related to office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, industrial parks and residential projects.
