Farella Braun + Martel Adds Pair of Attorneys to Intellectual Property Litigation and Environmental Law Practice Groups

SAN FRANCISCO, Apr. 23, 2012 – Farella Braun + Martel LLP welcomes Andrew Nguyen as an associate in its Intellectual Property Litigation Department and Brennan Quinn as an associate in its Environmental Law Department.

Nguyen’s practice focuses on representing high technology clients in patent infringement litigation. His cases have involved video games, digital video recorders, online video, smartphones, and hard drives. He joins Farella from Irell & Manella LLP’s Los Angeles office. Prior to his legal career, he served as a software engineering intern at both Symantec and Veritas. Nguyen received his J.D., cum laude, from the Northwestern University School of Law (2009), where he served as an editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. He obtained his M.S. in computer science (2005) and B.S., cum laude, in computer science and engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (2003).

Quinn is representing clients in environmental litigation. She joins Farella from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP’s Washington, D.C. office and has served as a legal intern at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division. Quinn obtained her J.D. from Harvard Law School (2008), where she was a senior editor of the Environmental Law Review. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in environmental studies from the University of Pennsylvania (2004).
