Environmental Leadership in the States
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. (March 25, 2009) - Farella Braun + Martel is pleased to co-host an Environmental Law Institute (ELI) 40th Anniversary Program, "Environmental Leadership in the States - Lesson Learned from California's Regulation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Coastal Zone Development" on April 14 in San Francisco.
The ELI program will feature a keynote address by Mary Nichols, head of the California Air Resources Board. A panel discussion on coastal issues will feature Hope Schmeltzer, Chief Counsel, California Coastal Commission; Jeanhee Hong, Assistant Regional Counsel, U.S. EPA - Region IX; Felicia Marcus, Western Director, Natural Resources Defense Council; and Rick Rothman, Chair, Environmental Practice Group, Bingham McCutcheon LLP.
