SAN FRANCISCO, Mar. 1, 2007 - Bruce Maximov, partner at Farella Braun + Martel, has been named president of the San Francisco Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG San Francisco). Formerly the Chapter secretary, Maximov, a member of the Farella Braun + Martel's Business Transactions group, is a long-time member of the ACG.
"I am honored to assume the leadership role for an organization with such an active presence in San Francisco and one that offers valuable insight into the ever-changing world of business growth and development," said Maximov. "Philosophically, ACG San Francisco adheres to the same principles as Farella Braun + Martel's business transactions group - we are an extension of our clients' business teams, providing an array of transactional approaches and opportunities to help them achieve their goals."
Maximov's practice focuses on the corporate, securities, financing and operational needs of early stage and maturing companies, with a particular emphasis on technology and real estate. He advises entrepreneurs in a range of industries, including high technology, product innovation, hotel and restaurant, wine, and commercial and residential real estate development on business formation and operation. His securities experience has involved SEC registered public offerings and exempt private placements on behalf of companies and investors. Maximov also has extensive merger and acquisitions experience.
Maximov received a J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley (1975) and a B.A., with distinction, from Stanford University (1969).
