Benefits for Professional Staff

Farella offers a comprehensive benefits package for all professional staff that includes the following:

Salary and Insurance

The firm offers competitive salaries and discretionary annual bonuses in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, disability and other insurance benefits which are effective the first of the month after joining the firm. Subsidized family health coverage is available for eligible dependents including registered domestic partners. Both FSA and HSA options are available for tax-favored payment of health expenses.

Childcare

The firm offers subsidized back-up childcare assistance. The firm also has an FSA plan that allows employees to pay for dependent day care expenses on a pre-tax, salary reduction basis.

Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Time

Staff initially accrue 20 PTO days each year. This amount increases with years of service to 30 days per year. The firm provides approximately 10 paid holidays per year.

Retirement Contributions

In addition to the employee’s own 401(k) tax-deferred contributions, the firm makes discretionary annual Profit Sharing contributions.

Educational Plan

The firm supports the efforts of employees to continue their education and enhance their professional skills. The firm provides reimbursement for certain pre-approved job-related educational expenses.

A tax-free transit and parking program, charitable contributions matching, long term care insurance, onsite yoga and Pilates classes (at no cost).
