Tiffanie De Liberty, Special Counsel
Tiffanie De Liberty is a special counsel in Farella Braun + Martel's business transactions practice and works from the St. Helena and San Francisco offices. Ms. De Liberty's practice focuses on the wine and beverage alcohol industry and she works closely with the firm's hallmark wine practice.
Ms. De Liberty advises beverage alcohol clients, including wineries and manufacturers, wholesalers and importers, and restaurants and retailers, on various issues, including: licensing; trade practice; marketing, advertising and sales; regulatory compliance; shipping and distribution; and intellectual property. She advises clients on various alcohol and wine related contracts, including grape purchase, custom crush, supply, distribution, marketing, and IT agreements, as well as winery and vineyard leases. She has represented wineries and other private and public companies in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, including advising on Hart-Scott-Rodino filings and compliance.
Prior to joining Farella, Ms. De Liberty was vice president and senior counsel with Jackson Family Wines, Inc., the California maker of Kendall-Jackson® and over 40 other premium wine brands. She managed the company's more than 125 trademarks for domestic and foreign wine, and all outside litigation.
