Pro Bono at Farella Braun + Martel

Criminal Justice Act Cases

  • As part of our White Collar Crime practice, we have used our expertise to represent indigent defendants pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act. Matters we have undertaken involve postal and identity theft, drug trafficking, and assault. We have also provided representation for witnesses appearing before federal grand juries. In United States v. Rodriguez, the FBM trial team obtained a reduced sentence of nine years for our client as opposed to the 15-24 year sentence being sought by the government.
