Paul A. Alsdorf is a litigation associate at Farella Braun + Martel with a practice emphasizing white collar criminal defense and complex business and class action litigation.
In his criminal defense practice, Mr. Alsdorf has conducted corporate internal investigations involving allegations of stock option backdating, accounting improprieties, and off-label pharmaceutical promotion. He has recently defended individuals under government investigation for stock option backdating, criminal antitrust violations, and securities law violations. He served as co-trial counsel in the defense of track coach Trevor Graham, who was accused of making false statements to IRS investigators in the federal BALCO steroids investigation.
Mr. Alsdorf's civil practice focuses on complex litigation, including consumer and securities class action defense as well as the representation of individuals and financial institutions in actions arising out of the current financial crisis. He has also served as plaintiff and defense counsel in patent infringement actions.
