Kathryn Oliver, Special Counsel

Kathryn Oliver specializes in the representation of insureds in insurance coverage matters.  Ms. Oliver has experience representing both individual and commercial policyholders in a variety of insurance-related disputes over the last ten years.  Her practice includes first party claims against insurers, such as those involving property insurance and health insurance.  It also includes the pursuit of coverage for liability claims asserted against clients in such areas as securities litigation (directors and officers liability coverage), professional liability (errors and omissions coverage), product defects and environmental contamination.

Ms. Oliver has experience mediating and litigating coverage disputes in both state and federal court that range from catastrophic earthquake and fire damage claims and complex multi-jurisdictional securities fraud liability claims against multiple insurers to individual health insurance claims.  She also has counseled and advised commercial and individual clients concerning the scope and intepretation of their insurance coverage.
