Philip W. Peters, Partner

Philip Peters is a partner in the Business Transactions Group. Mr. Peters advises clients on a wide range of domestic and international business transactions, including the purchase, sale, financing and reorganization of companies.  He has served as outside general counsel to companies in the construction, energy, insurance, software, technology, newspaper, hospitality and gaming industries.  Mr. Peters advises clients on Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act compliance. He has been involved in the formation of the international joint ventures in the power and energy industries and has experience in a wide range of commercial, project finance and real estate transactions.

Mr. Peters was named a Northern California Super Lawyer by Law & Politics in 2006.  He is frequently quoted on corporate governance developments and trends.
