George T. Argyris, Partner

George Argyris is a family trusts and estates attorney with thirty years of experience counseling individual clients on all matters related to the building, preservation and disposition of family wealth and minimization of taxes.

His practice includes sophisticated tax planning vehicles, including advice and preparation of planning documents such as wills, living trusts and durable powers of attorney, irrevocable life insurance trusts, gift programs, grantor retained annuity trusts, education trusts, family partnerships, generation-skipping transfers, inter vivos and testamentary charitable giving, charitable lead trusts, charitable remainder trusts and private foundations, property agreements, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements; disposition of IRA, Keogh and other employee benefit plans; probate and trust administration; litigation regarding validity, construction and administration; and counseling and advice to charitable foundations and board members.

Mr. Argyris is a frequent speaker and lecturer at professional seminars. He has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers of America in the area of Trusts and Estates and has been listed annually in Northern California Super Lawyers.

Mr. Argyris is also admitted to practice in U.S. Tax Court.
