Farella Braun + Martel Adds Intellectual Property Litigator Matthew Hollander

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 3, 2009:  Farella Braun + Martel has added Matthew Hollander to its San Francisco office as an associate in the Intellectual Property & Technology Department.

Hollander has experience representing companies in patent infringement, antitrust, breach of contract and business tort disputes in the automotive technology, consumer electronic and pharmaceutical industries.  Committed to pro bono work, Hollander has successfully represented a disabled plaintiff in a breach of contract action against a bank and represented several individuals in guardianship petitions.  Hollander joins Farella from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where his practice focused on intellectual property and commercial litigation.

Hollander earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School (2005), where he served on the Executive Board of the Prison Legal Assistance Project, and received his B.S., with distinction, in biology & society from Cornell University (1998), where he was the recipient of the Gamma Sigma Delta Faculty Honor Society Award for having the highest GPA.  He is admitted to the State Bar of California and the District of Columbia Bar.
