Grace Won spoke on a panel regarding Shareholder Derivative Actions at the Minority Corporate Counsel Association's Annual CLE Expo in Chicago from March 15th to 17th, 2006.

On February 27th, 2006, Ruth Ann participated in the General Counsel California Magazine Diversity Roundtable, which was hosted in our office. The other panel participants were Craig Barnes, partner at Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold; Warrington Parker, partner at Heller Ehrman; and Victoria Carradero, associate at Orrick. The discussion was transcribed and will be featured in the spring issue of the magazine.

Matthew Lewis, Chair of the Business Transactions Group at Farella Braun + Martel LLP, will host the roundtable at the City Club of San Francisco along with David Dinerman of Grant Thornton and Roger Wood of Wood Warren & Co.

Steve Lowenthal led a group discussion during the "Asking and Answering the Hard Questions" breakout sessions at the BASF Diversity Conference.

Frank Riebli and Erica Villanueva held a Q&A session with the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association & Korean American Law STudents Association at Hastings School of Law.

Racheal Turner held a Q&A session with the Black Law Students Association & La Raza Law Students Association at Hastings School of Law.

On September 12th, 2005, Ruth Ann Castro and Chrysty Esperanza held a Q&A session with the Pilipino American Law Society at Boalt.

Anne Griffith (and Patrice Harper) held at Q&A session with the Law Students of African Descent at Boalt on September 7th, 2005.

Jim Colopy and Julie Mar-Spinola, Chief Litigation and Intellectual Property Counsel for our client, Atmel, participated in a California Lawyer Roundtable Discussion on the topic of diversity. The dicussion was transcribed and will be published in the September issue of the California Lawyer.
