Intellectual Property and Commercial Liability
The Insurance Coverage Group obtains insurance coverage for antitrust claims, intellectual property claims such as trade libel and trade secret disparagement, civil rights, and employment liability suits, such as discrimination and wrongful termination claims, under a variety of policies – commercial general liability, employment practices liability and public entity or professional errors and omissions. This work includes both the negotiation for the payment of defense costs and settlements (often bringing about not only the resolution of the coverage dispute, but also the underlying lawsuit), and litigation of bad faith and coverage disputes.
