Biography

Daniel Contreras has known he wanted to be a trial lawyer since his first year of law school. Since graduating, he has dedicated his practice to honing his litigation skills and achieving the best outcomes possible for his clients. In his short career, he has appeared in state and federal court. He has taken depositions and drafted substantive litigation documents, including oppositions to motions for summary judgment, complaints, case management statements, mediation briefs, and other motions. He has researched and drafted memoranda on pre-trial and post-trial procedural issues, developed case strategy, and engaged in discovery practice.

Daniel also has significant experience working for two of the most accomplished jurists in the country. In 2020, he clerked for the Honorable Xavier Rodriguez in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and in 2018 he externed for the Honorable Charles Breyer in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
