Farella Represents Catalyze in Its Acquisition of Sol Alliance

November 2, 2021 Announcement

Northern California legal powerhouse Farella Braun + Martel represented Colorado-based independent power producer Catalyze in its acquisition of Sol Alliance, a leading Northeastern commercial-scale solar developer, as part of the company's plan to expand its national presence by acquiring leading regional distributed solar development companies.

Catalyze is a leading developer and independent power producer of renewable distributed generation, energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) charging projects. As noted in the announcement, the acquisition provides Catalyze with greater origination resources and deeper solar development capabilities in key markets, especially New York and New Jersey, and a current deal pipeline exceeding 80 megawatts (MW) of projects in development.
