Biography
Jeff Briggs specializes in defending employers in litigation ranging from single-plaintiff matters to class and representative actions involving all aspects of employment law. He has litigated disputes in federal and state courts involving wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation issues. Jeff also has experience representing clients at labor arbitrations and before administrative agencies, including the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
In addition to his litigation work, Jeff advises employers on best practices to mitigate exposure or avoid litigation altogether. He counsels clients on all aspects of employment law, including hiring and termination decisions, accommodations, employee policies, and wage-and-hour issues.
