March 22, 2016 Media Coverage

SAN FRANCISCO (Mar. 22, 2016): Farella Braun + Martel LLP congratulates Insurance Recovery Partner John Green on his election as a Fellow in the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel (ACCEC).

ACCEC’s purpose is to facilitate and encourage the association of outstanding lawyers who are distinguished for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of insurance coverage and extracontractual law. ACCEC’s membership requirements are rigorous and recognize only the leading counsel who display excellence, civility and professionalism.

“I am honored to have been nominated and accepted by my peers as a Fellow of the ACCEC. I look forward to joining my ACCEC colleagues in their effort to promote the creative and efficient resolution of coverage disputes, and to maintain high standards of ethics and civility in our practice area,” said Green.

Having over three decades of experience, Green’s litigation practice focuses on obtaining insurance coverage in product class actions, mass tort claims, environmental claims and directors’ and officers’ liability. His experience extends to a wide variety of coverages, including commercial general liability, D&O, professional E&O, technology E&O, cyber liability, commercial property and builders-risk coverages. He has litigated, arbitrated or mediated many high-stakes coverage matters and has helped clients obtain more than $1 billion in insurance recoveries.

Green has written and lectured extensively on insurance coverage issues and is a regular contributor to Farella’s Policyholder Perspective blog.
