Biography

Laura Pedersen has represented clients nationwide in patent, copyright, fraud, contract, land use, and class action matters. Her clients include innovative technology companies, Bay Area municipalities, developers, and leading consumer products brands.

She has helped patent clients navigate novel licensing, constitutional, and administrative law questions in both federal district court and before the International Trade Commission. To her business litigation clients, Laura provides drafting and research expertise, with a strong focus on motion practice and discovery strategy.

Her practice spans a wide variety of industries including telecommunications, finance, semiconductor design and manufacturing, high-end consumer goods, and government. Her clients value her communication and interpersonal skills, her ability to listen, and her genuine interest in both getting to know the people she counsels, and supporting them in arriving at the best possible outcome.
