Reopening Wine Businesses: Employee and Consumer Data Privacy

Wine Industry Education Series
July 9, 2020 at 10:00am11:00am (PDT)
Webinar

Join Nate Garhart and Jaya Bajaj in the discussion on Reopening Wine Businesses: Employee and Consumer Data Privacy.

The shelter-in-place orders prevented in-person tastings from happening, throwing a curve ball to the wine industry. As the wine country slowly prepares to reopen, it will not be the same experience pre-COVID-19 pandemic. For example, to ensure the wellbeing of employees and customers visiting, face coverings are required and you may be asked to take a temperature check or fill out a questionnaire to lower the spread of COVID-19. With these new requirements come new employment and data collection considerations, which should not be overlooked. Join us as we discuss the implications and resulting upshot from these issues, including:

  • Reopening Guidelines and Protocol Development
  • Employment Law Effects and Requirements
  • Privacy Law Considerations
