Douglas Young Appointed to the Advisory Board of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
SAN FRANCISCO, March 1, 2016: Farella Braun + Martel LLP senior trial lawyer Douglas R. Young has been appointed by Chief Judge Sidney Thomas to the Advisory Board of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The Advisory Board takes its direction from the Chief Circuit Judge and serves as a sounding board concerning issues facing the circuit. Advisory Board members also participate in the annual judicial conference. Young’s term began on February 23, 2016 and continues through September 30, 2019.
