Farella Braun + Martel Adds 25-Year Deal Veteran Hank Evans As Business Transactions Group Partner

SAN FRANCISCO, May 14, 2007 - Farella Braun + Martel adds veteran San Francisco corporate transactional attorney, Hank Evans, as a partner, effective May 11.  With over 25 years of experience counseling California businesses, Evans joins the firm's Business Transactions Group from Bingham McCutchen.

"Our business transactions group has been steadily expanding its service offerings for companies in various regionally strong industry sectors, such as technology, hospitality, media, software, real estate and wine," said Steve Lowenthal, chairman of Farella Braun + Martel.  "With Hank's deep transactional experience in representing virtually all types of businesses, we are excited he will be on board helping our clients achieve their business goals."

Evans' well-rounded corporate practice has enabled him to serve a range of clients - from start-up businesses to international corporations.  His practice emphasizes secured and unsecured lending, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investment, corporate counseling and agribusiness. 

Evans is a member of the American College of Investment Counsel.  He received his J.D., cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law (1979) and his A.B., magna cum laude, from the University of Virginia (1976).
