Farella Braun + Martel Adds Brett Greenberg To Real Estate Department

SAN FRANCISCO, May 3, 2010:  Farella Braun + Martel LLP has added Brett Greenberg as an associate to its Real Estate Department.

Greenberg's real estate practice is focused on fund formation, acquisitions and dispositions, finance, leasing and hospitality.  His experience includes negotiating and drafting commercial real estate contracts, representing fund sponsors in the structuring, formation, operation and restructuring of real estate investment funds, representing lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions, and advising on guaranty enforcement issues.  He also has coordinated the bankruptcy acquisition of a portfolio of residential development projects.  He is an active board member of Root Division, a Bay Area arts and education nonprofit organization.

Greenberg earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School (2007), where he was a contributing editor for the Michigan Law Review.  He received his B.A. in history and theatre arts, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania (2002).
