SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 25, 2008 - Farella Braun + Martel has added Deepak Gupta as an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology practice and Monica Swanson as an associate in its Business Litigation practice.

Gupta brings experience in intellectual property litigation and general commercial business disputes at the trial and appellate levels.  Case highlights include: obtaining one of the first trial court rulings of patent invalidity for obviousness after KSR v.
