Farella Braun + Martel Grows by Five Attorneys

SAN FRANCISCO (Jan. 14, 2011):  Farella Braun + Martel added five associates to the firm.  New additions include:

Navjot Athwal - Real Estate:  Athwal earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (2010), where he served as executive editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal and was a member of the Berkeley Moot Court Team.  Athwal served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Marilyn Hall Patel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Allyson M. Franco - Intellectual Property:  Franco earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (2010), where she served as a senior editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law, served as vice president of finance for the Boalt Hall Women's Association and volunteered in the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic.  She was also a legal intern for the Family Law Self Help Center at the Superior Court of California, Unified Family Court in San Francisco.

Benjamin J. Sitter - Business Litigation:  Sitter earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (2010), where he served as a supervising editor for the California Law Review and an assistant editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law.  He was involved with the California Asylum Representation Clinic.

Eric C. Tausend - Construction:  Tausend earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (2010), where he served as senior articles editor for the Hastings Law Journal and was a member of the Thurston Society.  Tausend served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Jeffrey S. White of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. 

Michael L. Wang - Business Litigation:  Wang earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School (2010), where he was involved with the Immigration Pro Bono Project and Stanford Alumni Mentoring and was a member of the Stanford Law and Policy Review.  He served as a clinic law student for the Youth and Education Law Project and the Organizations and Transactions Clinic in Stanford, Calif.
