Farella Braun + Martel Hosts Fourth Annual Women Client Event

May 9, 2008 Announcement

SAN FRANCISCO, May 9, 2008 - Farella Braun + Martel's Women's Initiative Steering Committee (WISC) recently hosted its annual networking event targeting the firm's women clients.  "An Evening of Fine Art, Fine Wine and Fine Women" was held on May 8, 2008.  Fifty attorneys and clients participated, and several commented that this was the best networking event that they have ever attended.

The goal for the WISC's fourth annual event was two fold:  to build networks within Farella's female clientele and attorneys while providing an exclusive art appreciation experience.  This educational networking event combined a guided private viewing of the Art Exchange, Fraenkel and Stephen Wirtz galleries at 49 Geary in San Francisco with fine wine and tapas.  Fine art advisor Danielle Wohl and the gallery directors explained the motivations and influences of the artists' work and gave tips on collecting fine art, as well as answered a myriad of questions from the enthusiastic attendees.

About Farella's Women's Initiative Steering Committee

Farella's Women's Initiative Steering Committee offers targeted training and client development opportunities to its women attorneys, further providing a supportive environment for them to develop their practices.  Monthly events focus on skill building, business development, and internal and external networking and support.
