Katherine Philippakis Named Among Daily Journal’s 2018 Top Women Lawyers in California

SAN FRANCISCO/ST. HELENA, May 2, 2018 – Farella Braun + Martel LLP is proud to announce the selection of partner Katherine Philippakis to the Daily Journal’s 2018 list of California’s Top Women Lawyers. The annual list recognizes the achievements of 100 leading women lawyers statewide. This is the fifth time Philippakis has been named to the Top Women Lawyers list.

Chair of Farella’s Wine Industry practice, Philippakis serves as real estate, corporate and land use counsel to some of California’s most exclusive wineries. Based in Farella’s Napa Valley office, she is a highly sought-after deal lawyer for the acquisition and disposition of luxury winery and vineyard properties, as well as assisting wine industry companies with the development of their properties and the operation of their businesses. In addition to her wine industry practice, she maintains a general land use and real estate practice, advising clients on renewable energy, hospitality and luxury residential projects.
