Perkins Coie Ruling Could Offer 'Persuasive Force' for Other EO Litigation
Farella Co-Managing Partner Holly Sutton was quoted in The National Law Journal article, "Perkins Coie Ruling Could Offer 'Persuasive Force' for Other EO Litigation."
On May 2, Perkins Coie obtained summary judgment in their court case against the Trump administration, which barred an executive order targeting it from going into effect.
Farella was among the first law firms to join the amicus brief opposing this Administration's unlawful retaliation against Perkins Coie and other law firms solely because those firms hired lawyers or represented parties in matters the President disfavors.
In the article, Holly called the ruling a "sound" decision and said she fully expects "that every judge that looks at this issue is going to have to reach the same conclusion."
