January 23, 2017 Announcement

SAN FRANCISCO, January 23, 2017: Farella Braun + Martel LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Thomas B. Mayhew was named President of the Northern California Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL) for 2017.

The organization was developed in 1973 to develop a forum for the discussion of business trials and to promote communication between the bench and bar in California. The Northern California Chapter, with 2,000 members, is the largest of the five chapters. It annually hosts six educational dinner programs, an Annual Networking Event for attorneys with 10 years or less of law practice experience, and with the other chapters co-hosts a multi-day Annual Seminar.

Mayhew serves as chair of Farella’s Business Litigation practice. He clerked for Judge David Levi of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and Judge William W. Schwarzer of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, sitting by designation on the Third Circuit and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
