Richard Shapiro Authors Chapter on Construction-Related Agreements in CEB Publication on California Easements and Boundaries

SAN FRANCISCO (February 25, 2011):  Farella Braun + Martel's Richard Shapiro, Partner in the firm's Construction and Real Estate practice groups has authored a chapter on "Construction-Related Agreements" in California Easements and Boundaries: Law and Litigation, published by the California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB).

The new book is an invaluable resource for drafting or vacating easements and negotiating settlements.  It addresses:

CEB is a program of the University of California that is cosponsored by the State Bar of California.  Founded in 1947 with the mandate to cultivate the professional development of California lawyers, CEB was the first organization to offer formal Continuing Legal Education (CLE) in the state.

Shapiro's construction experience includes representing owners, contractors and design professionals in connection with a wide range of construction projects throughout the U.S. and abroad.  Shapiro earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the Hastings Law Journal, and a Masters in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
