Ryan Malhan is an employment litigator and advisor at Farella Braun + Martel.

Ryan defends employers in single-plaintiff and class action employment litigation. His practice primarily focuses on single-plaintiff litigation involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. His litigation experience encompasses all phases of litigation, including hearing and trial preparation and negotiations with opposing counsel.

Ryan regularly counsels clients on all areas of the employment relationship, including hiring and termination decisions, disability accommodations, and employee policies. He works with clients to draft employment agreements, policies, and handbooks that comply with federal, state, and local laws and minimize the risk of litigation.
