Biography
Shannon Kimball advises investors, business owners, boards of directors, executive teams, and private clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and commercial contract negotiations. She has represented several strategic buyers in acquisitions, investors and acquirors in cross-border transactions, and venture capital firms in early-stage investments and advised entrepreneurs and startups on transactional and governance matters throughout a business’s lifecycle. Her clients are in the renewable energy, technology, venture capital, and consumer products industries. This generalist approach makes her an effective and creative problem solver and she enjoys drafting bespoke agreements to fit her clients’ needs.
She brings particular value to a deal team by being able to connect with clients quickly and identify their most pressing concerns. She excels at communicating complex topics clearly and concisely in a way that her clients’ business teams can easily understand.
Shannon mentors law students as they are navigating the early stages of their careers and serves on Farella’s Learning and Development Committee.
