Farella Braun + Martel’s Daniel Vermillion Among the North Bay Business Journal’s Forty Under 40

March 18, 2015 Accolades

SAN FRANCISCO/ST. HELENA, March 18, 2015 – Farella Braun + Martel LLP is pleased to announce that Daniel C. Vermillion was selected as one of the North Bay Business Journal’s Forty Under 40. Vermillion is a senior associate in Farella’s Family Wealth Group.

The Journal’s 2015 Forty Under 40 winners were chosen on the basis of their leadership in companies and organizations as well as their participation within the community across the North Bay.

Vermillion works with individuals, families and family businesses to develop and implement sophisticated personal wealth transfer and business succession planning. His clients have included high-net worth individuals requiring complex wealth preservation strategies and vehicles. He has counseled winery owners and large land owners to design and implement plans for business succession and changes in management and ownership of family businesses, navigating myriad income, estate, gift and property tax implications while minimizing the burden of transfer on successive generations.

Vermillion earned an LL.M. in taxation from New York University (2012) and a J.D., cum laude, with a tax concentration from the UC Hastings College of the Law (2009). He is an active member of the nonprofit Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa and currently serves as its second vice president.

The honorees will be profiled in a special section on April 27 and an awards reception will be held on April 29 at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek in Santa Rosa. Click here for the complete list of the 2015 Forty Under 40.
