Kalei Akiona is an associate in Farella Braun + Martel's tax practice.

During law school, Kalei worked as a law clerk in Farella’s tax practice, where he conducted research and wrote memoranda on tax matters and drafted estate planning documents for high-net-worth individuals. He also served as a law clerk at the UC Hastings Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, where he represented clients under attorney supervision before the IRS and the United States Tax Court and as a tax intern in Andersen’s Private Client Services Group.

He has native fluency in Hawaiian and conversational proficiency in Spanish.
