Accounts Receivable Coordinator (Flexible Hybrid in SF Bay Area)

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator supports the delivery of quality legal services to clients by performing the following functions: Accurately records daily cash receipts in a timely manner. Manages all aspects of client trust accounts in accordance with the California State Bar guidelines. Facilitates refunds to clients. Submits accurate and timely reports. The A/R Coordinator provides support to all collections activity, including tracking special payment agreements, resolving payment issues and responding to inquires relating to outstanding invoice balances and application of cash received, and updates to the collections database.

This position is a flexible hybrid (in-office and remote) position requiring working in-person in San Francisco.

Client Account Specialist (Flexible Hybrid in SF Bay Area)

The Client Account Specialist supports the delivery of quality legal services to clients by performing the following functions: The Client Account Specialist provides support to all billing and collections activity, including tracking special agreements, solving problems and responding to inquires relating to invoice balances and application of cash received, updates to the ARCS collections database, preparation of statements to clients and regular communications with attorneys and clients to resolve invoice issues and stale receivables. Assists with special billing and accounts receivable-related projects and a broad range of requests, with a high level of analytical and critical thinking skills. Provides instruction and assists others in the use of the time and matter programs. Makes system updates of core billing and accounts receivable information. Manages many aspects of client trust accounts in accordance with the California State Bar guidelines. Submits accurate and timely reports.

Associate - Family Wealth

Farella Braun + Martel’s highly respected Family Wealth practice seeks an associate with 4-7 years of experience. Ranked in the Chambers USA High Net Worth Guide, our client base is both domestic and international with a heavy emphasis on family wealth generated in California’s technology, real estate, finance, and food and beverage (i.e., wine) industries. 

The ideal candidate will become an integral member of our Private Client Industry Group supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, privately-owned businesses, and family offices. Autonomy is a hallmark of our practice, which requires candidates to understand (commensurate with their level) the unique legal and business needs required to assist our Private Client Industry team build, expand, and develop current and future client relationships.

An LLM in taxation is desirable, but not mandatory.

The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $250,000 and $295,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, years of relevant experience and professional skills required for this role. Associate - Patent Litigation

Farella Braun + Martel’s leading intellectual property litigation practice is seeking a talented and motivated Patent Litigation Associate to join our distinguished IP team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in patent litigation, with a strong understanding of patent law and litigation procedures, excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field is strongly preferred, but not required.

Our team of expert IP lawyers is dedicated to helping clients secure, protect, and defend their intellectual property rights. Our attorneys engage in high-stakes patent litigation and work on cases involving diverse industries spanning computer hardware and software to platform companies. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $210,000 and $275,000. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $205,000 and $225,000.
