Viewpoint: Why a San Francisco law firm recommitted to the Financial District
Farella Braun + Martel has been an institution in the San Francisco Financial District since its founding more than 60 years ago. We’ve seen inflation, deflation, recession, boom, bust, dot-com, earthquakes and natural disasters, and everything in between. While San Francisco’s most recent struggles are serious and will require our collective best efforts to rectify, San Francisco and Farella are unique stars and deeply entwined.
Farella recently recommitted to the San Francisco Financial District with our move one block away from our 50-year stint at the Russ Building to One Bush. In pre-pandemic times, our move would be a routine lease transaction and hardly news. But, in today’s real estate market, a lease of our size is more than a transaction, it cements Farella firmly in San Francisco for the next decade.
