Expired-Patent Costs Defy Forecasts

Farella Braun + Martel intellectual property litigation partner Rod Thompson, who is defending companies that have been sued for listing expired patent numbers on consumer goods, commented on legislation pending in Congress the would curtail the suits. Farella Braun + Martel filed a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain settlement data on false marking suits.
