Farella Braun + Martel Receives Equal Rights Advocates Pro Bono Champion Award
SAN FRANCISCO, June 12, 2015: Farella Braun + Martel LLP is honored to receive the 2015 Pro Bono Champion Award from Equal Rights Advocates (ERA). According to ERA, the award honors Farella for its “incredible pro bono contributions serving our community.”
For many years, Farella has provided pro bono assistance on a number of ERA legal matters and several partners have served on ERA’s board and committees. Recently, as part of ERA’s Let Her Work project the firm has represented pro bono women with criminal histories seeking reentry into the workforce. The firm provided pro bono paralegal support to ERA in a sexual harassment trial that resulted in an $800,000 jury verdict in ERA’s client’s favor (Bojorquez v. ABM).
Farella received the award at the Equal Rights Advocates 2015 Gala Luncheon on June 11th at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis.
