Vault 2022: Farella Ranked One of the Best Midsize Law Firms to Work For

August 4, 2021 Announcement

Farella Braun + Martel is proud to announce that it has again been ranked by Vault as one of the 2022 "Best Midsize Law Firms to Work For" in the United States – moving up to the #4 spot. The firm placed among the country's “Top 150 Under 150” law firms and earned a ranking among the "Best Law Firms in Northern California."

Farella's top 10 quality of life rankings in the midsize firm category include #3 for Transparency; #6 for Hours and Satisfaction; #7 for Information Training, Mentorship & Sponsorship; #8 for Career Outlook; #9 for Wellness, Firm Culture, and Selectivity; and #10 for Associate/Partner Relations and Formal Training. The firm also earned rankings in the Diversity (#17), Compensation (#23), and Quality of Work (#24) categories.

The rankings are derived from Vault’s Law Firm Associate Survey, in which associates rated and commented on various aspects of their work life. The rankings were calculated using a formula that weighs associate ratings in 11 different areas.

In May, Farella was named one of the “Best Places to Work in the Bay Area” for the 15th time by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal and placed #1 in its category among large companies (200–499 employees).
