Prosecutors Who Led the Investigation into January 6: Lessons for Large-Scale Litigation
Farella's Alexis Loeb with guest speaker, Gregory Rosen with Rogers, Joseph, O'Donnel, will present on "Prosecutors Who Led the Investigation into January 6: Lessons for Large-Scale Litigation" to the Women General Counsel Network on November 18.
Hear from two high ranking former federal prosecutors who managed the prosecution of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. This was the largest investigation in Department of Justice history, involving over 1,500 and a team of hundreds of attorneys and investigators. In this program, two leaders of the DOJ’s investigation -- the former Chief and Deputy Chief of the DOJ Capitol Siege Section -- will distill lessons learned from managing this litigation of an unprecedented scale. While the attack on the Capitol may seem like a unique event, the challenges the investigation posed—relating to topics such as management, settlement approach, ediscovery, and team organization—have broad applicability to large-scale litigation of various types.
