Deborah Kelly is a senior paralegal with substantial experience supporting mass tort, complex environmental, and general litigation. She has assisted attorneys in a broad range of federal and state matters, including product liability actions, insurance litigation, cost recovery and contribution claims, citizen suits, natural resource damages litigation, and enforcement actions. Her environmental counseling paralegal experience includes coordinating complex due diligence projects and conducting research and analysis on domestic and international product stewardship issues.

Deborah has managed numerous document-intensive matters from inception through trial. She served as lead paralegal in the defense of a Fortune 50 company in a multibillion-dollar, precedent-setting natural resource damages matter, providing critical support during multiweek pretrial conferences. She has also served as case manager in the defense of more than 10,000 toxic tort claims and in the defense of a nationally recognized pharmaceutical company in multi-faceted product liability litigation arising from alleged adverse drug reactions.

An integral member of environmental litigation teams, Deborah is skilled at managing large volumes of facts and documents electronically and at identifying, investigating, and analyzing complex factual issues. She also has significant experience coordinating document research and collection from government agencies.

In addition to her client work, Deborah is actively involved in the Paralegal Department at Farella, where she helps train junior paralegals and presents seminars on cite-checking and professional issues relevant to the paralegal profession.
