Biography
Linda Sobczynski Gilleran’s practice covers clean energy permitting for solar, wind, and batteries as well as litigation arising under state and federal environmental law, including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Additionally, she counsels clients engaged in cleanup and site remediation projects and leans on her science degree as she works closely with technical consultants in the areas of air quality, hydrology, biology, and geology.
Linda has an active pro bono practice that is at the intersection of clean energy permitting and remediation with the goal of developing clean energy resources at existing industrial infrastructure sites.
Prior to commencing her legal career, Linda interned at several environmental regulatory agencies. Her internships have included service with the State Water Resources Control Board, the California Energy Commission, the Environmental and Natural Resources Division of the United States Department of Justice in Sacramento, California, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC.
