Farella Expands Insurance Recovery Practice With Addition of Litigation Partner Amy Briggs

SAN FRANCISCO, July 29, 2020: Northern California legal powerhouse Farella Braun + Martel is pleased to welcome insurance recovery litigator Amy B. Briggs to the firm’s San Francisco office as a partner.

Briggs advises clients on complex business litigation matters involving insurance coverage and bad faith disputes. She represents policyholders in a variety of sectors, with emphasis on real estate, construction and healthcare. In her 23-year career, Briggs has successfully litigated first- and third-party coverage and bad faith claims arising out of general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, fiduciary and employment practices liability policies, as well as commercial property and builder’s risk policies.

Briggs is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Insurance Law)and is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis, School of Law (1997) and her B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University (1991).
