Tony Schoenberg Receives Award of Merit From Bar Association of San Francisco

December 14, 2022 Announcement

Farella Braun + Martel is proud to announce that partner Tony Schoenberg has received an Award of Merit from the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) at the association’s Annual Membership Luncheon today. The honor recognizes his dedication to the organization in 2022 as chair of the BASF Civility Task Force, which under his leadership developed a set of civility guidelines that the San Francisco Superior Court now displays on its website and is expected to distribute to all litigants and attorneys in new civil case filings.

Tony is a member of BASF’s board of directors. He has served as a director of BASF’s Justice and Diversity Center, as an Executive Committee member of the Litigation Section, and as chair of the Immigration Task Force and the Civility Task Force.

Tony has more than 20 years of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer. He has represented public companies, small businesses, and individuals in real estate litigation matters, contractual arbitrations, and other complex business disputes. He is past chair of Farella’s Business Litigation practice and is responsible for oversight of the firm’s pro bono litigation. He earned his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law (1998).

Celebrating our 60th anniversary, Farella Braun + Martel is a leading Northern California law firm representing corporate and private clients in sophisticated business transactions and complex commercial, civil and criminal litigation. Clients seek our imaginative legal solutions and the dynamism and intellectual creativity of our lawyers. We are headquartered in San Francisco and maintain an office in the Napa Valley that is focused on the wine industry.
