The Inflation Reduction Act's Impact on Renewable Energy Development
Join Farella's Linda Sobczynski Gilleran and Julie Treppa with guest speakers Jackson Morrow with JP Morgan and Uday Varadarajan with Rocky Mountain Institute at our next Unplugged Renewable Energy Series discussing The "Inflation Reduction Act's Impact on Renewable Energy Development."
This August marked the two-year anniversary of the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the single largest legislative investment in climate and energy in American history. Outside groups have estimated that the Inflation Reduction Act’s clean energy and climate provisions have created more than 170,000 clean energy jobs. Additionally, over $110 billion in clean energy manufacturing investments have been announced from companies.
This seminar will discuss the status of the Inflation Reduction Act two years after its passage, as well as its impact on renewable energy development. What successes and challenges have emerged from implementing the Inflation Reduction Act? What funding opportunities are available for project developers, frontline communities, and other interested parties? How is all of this affecting the energy transition? Our experts will discuss these questions and so much more during the program.
