Farella Braun + Martel LLP served as project development, permitting and real estate counsel to First Solar, Inc. (FSLR) in the development and sale of First Solar’s 280 megawatt California Flats Solar Project, located on approximately 2,900 acres of private land in Monterey County and San Luis Obispo County, California. Farella’s work included securing all land use entitlements, environmental and permit approvals, negotiating ground lease, easement, and option rights for the project, support with construction compliance, and assistance with respect to the sale of the project to Capital Dynamics.
