Alva Coleman is a senior paralegal in Farella Braun + Martel’s litigation department with more than 20 years of experience. She has managed courtroom trial support in nearly 200 trials over her career. Alva supports every stage of a case up to and during trial and arbitration. While in the courtroom or at arbitration, she ensures an accurate record of exhibits admitted, manages all technological aspects, including ensuring contemporaneous digital broadcasting of relevant documents during witness examinations, utilizing the latest in trial presentation software. She is also skilled at preparing opening and closing PowerPoint slide decks, as well as coordinating and managing experts and witnesses on the day of their testimony.

Alva also assists with cite-checking briefs to the Court, coordinating with experts and witnesses, compiling and organizing trial exhibits, among other paralegal tasks. She has also prepared and participated in 7 mock juries for clients while at Farella.
